Obama is close to being Impeached

Don't get me wrong there are some racist here but most are in word only. We have pretty good laws against such things. The only racism I see now is in peoples' hearts and no law can change that.

Greed divides a nation that is for sure. A president can unite a nation they just need to make unity the proirity and the rest will come easier. Any good mediator knows you need to get people together to solve any problem. The problem with Obama is he promised everything to everyone short of the second coming of Christ and now because of his inexperience he cannot/has not delivered. I remember a woman saying if he were elected she would have no more financial worries... what made her think that?

Obama should have known what he was getting into. I have trained people to do my line of work which is very dangerous and the worst thing a novice can tell me is "I know what to do" that is when I remind them "no... no you do not know what to do so shut up and listen" that is how I see Obama in his dealings he is probably a likable fellow, drinks a beer shoots some hoops and all but he is naive and it shows. If someone likes him for emotional reasons I cannot argue with that.

I agree with you no country has ever and I mean ever taxed its' way to prosperity it just does not work that way. How can a country where what 17% real unemployment, 48% of those that work pay no income tax and social programs that are bankrupting states survive I see the need for change but you cannot expect the wealthy to foot the bill it will never happen they are like turtles in a shell they will pullin their heads and ride it out like they have before.

It's also good to have your assurance that Americans can come together when they need to. Perhaps they need to now but I don't see much sign of that amongst the politicians and they seem to be dividing the nation instead.

Health care is a very big issue and I mentioned it only by way of an example to illustrate the mistaken view that Obama is a Socialist. Let's not divert this already rambling thread onto that track. I'd be happy to discuss it on another thread.

Looking in from the outside, I'm a bit disappointed by the present US Administration. However, Obama inherited some problems which got worse through no fault of his own. Most countries have had serious economic problems which will take time to resolve. In addition, he's inherited military campaigns which, sadly, can't be ended overnight in an orderly fashion. Also from the outside, we see him blocked at every turn at a time when, more than ever, a President needs to be able to see through his plans.

I think that he might reasonably be given another term with, hopefully, the elbow room to reform the financial institutions that hold too much power in the economy. I would add that the US is not the only economic entity that needs to deal with this problem. I would agree, also, with the view that tax reforms are needed to stimulate spending by the majority of wage earners.

It's up to you guys, of course, It's your country's future.

Why on God's green earth would you stir that pot? Black people do not need told they cannot make it without whitey's help that is absurd. The black people I know have overcome this stereotyping.

Sure, so you guys could give him more time. I would add, again, that he has been blocked from doing some of the things he wanted to do.

Bill Clinton was faced with a Republican Congress also and he learned or knew that moving from the left to center was going to get things done. I really think that Obama lets his ego get in the way. He recently sent his 13 year old daughter to Mexico with 25 secret service agents... not smart in a recession, his wife spent 400,000.00 on a trip to Vale, and his Hawaii trip was very expensive, these are not moves of a smart man wanting people to trust him.

The elections here are usually decided by the independants and the right is gonna vote right and the left is gonna vote left it is always that way since Reagan where the working Dems gave him a landslide.
