That is one beautiful cage my friend. If he has to spend time in "Time Out" at least he can do it in style!!!!!thumbsup.gif

Is that an American Bulldog? My son has a white one and he is going to breed him to a red and white female in June. We have an option on a female. They are the greatest and smartest dogs ever. I just love their temperament. I know there are lots of great dogs out there but I have to say I love the American Bulldog. My son's dog learned to help me herd the guineas in nothing flat. He felt so good working and boy was he happy that he could help.

So thanks for the pictures! I LOVE them!

Shes a pit, bred for hog hunting, best catch dog ever, smart yea very and loyal as they come.

She is one of the best dogs i ever owned as far as a critter deterrent and she loves all the birds.

Only thing bad about her is she is scared of small children  so i would never trust her around them

We have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.  We thought he was only good for snuggles and thank god, a reason to throw a tennis ball.  But he has become quite the Guinea-getter.  And quail.  Just not chickens.

Hi TarheelBirdy,

We have three Japanese Chins, (half pug, half Cavalier King Charles Spaniels), they love the guineas and the guineas love to be chased by them. It's hysterical when the dogs on their leashes will surround the birds and then charge them! The birds just sidestep and hop over the leashes like they were jumping rope.!D.gif  The dogs are not the brightest and are very sweet but clueless about doing any work. The birds on the other hand like to round up the neighbors cats and chase them home and corner them on their steps. Poor cats! lau.gif They  have to check out every vehicle that comes in the driveway. They will run in front (where the driver can see them) and stop dead. then calmly walk to the drivers side and give them a good looking over. If the person gets out they walk away but if they show fear. They'll jump on the roof or the hood and stare at them!tongue2.gif They think they are so intimidating, I guess they are to some, but they are just strange looking chickens to most.

They have been especially entertaining for their favorite neighbor. They've terrified one of their girls boyfriends who is deathly afraid of chickens and now guineas!!!! They will literally chase him around the yard, him screaming like a girl, and blocking his way to get in the house!!!!lau.gif I only have three now as the other two died this past week so they are being very good for me as if they know.

I've got to get some more pictures of them and their antics! My goodness they can be soooo funny!

Okay so this isn't about guineas but a Friend sent me this picture and I have to share with you! lau.gif

Her cat laid on the eggs when the hen got up!!!!! I love it!This is what I need to sit my eggs. My guineas start to stay on the nest and leave after 3 hours. It is so cold tonite about 23 degrees that I just took the eggs so they wouldn't freeze.
