We,ll I have to say you did a great job with the diapers. There adorable! And they do not seem to bother your chicks. Simply adorable. Can not wait until there big and see how they look. smile.png

My thought for attaching cloth diapers would be to make little tabs that wrap around the harness (from under to over) and attach with velcro or snaps... the video is adorable! big_smile.png

They are soo cute, thanks for sharing.

What are those bands on the upper leg for? Do they strach as the baby grows?

Never had these kinda bird, kinda like to get some, got plenty of room but just not sure if i want a bird taller than me.

Thank you for the suggestion, IlaWampa! I will try that soon, hopefully! Haha, I can be such a procrastinator...
Zazouse, the bands are so that I know which emu is which. I have two boys and two girls...and they look so much alike! The lady that sent them to me put the bands on them - they're velcro, so they can be adjusted while the emus grow. I don't notice my emus pecking at the bands at all, so it must be fairly comfortable! the lady I bought them from suggested using some sort of calf paint when they get older....I guess I would just put a bit of this special paint on their legs so that I can continue to identify them even when they outgrow the leg bands.

Haha! Thanks! Right now they're inside. Just had some horrible thunderstorms last night (even saw a tornado in the distance). Theirbrooder and run was underwater. When I got home last night from a meeting, my poor babies were almost waist high in water. My husband ran out and got them for me (I'm scared of lightning...lame). We set them up in one of our bathrooms. They're doing great this morning, but now I gotta go clean up their brooder and run.

Take a look online at dog diapers, or male marking diapers. They helped me figure out a better way to do bird diapers, and you can get an idea about tabs & such.
