Hello

We are looking into buying a cabinet incubator and found a 'wooden hen' one on Ebay we are interested in. You can specify how many trays with hatcher or wihout etc.

Was just wondering if anybody has any experience witth those incubators?!?
Or have any other suggestions.

Just want something that if I spend that kinda money , will be a good one that holds temp and humidity and gives me the best changes of having a succesfull hatch. Digital, auto turners also a must.
We are importing eggs from the Nettherlands, so NEED a good hatch.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Wow, that some real shipping! I hope you have given yourself time to get some practice at hatching before you import anything. Simple shipping even within the states can make hatching eggs a challenge. I have never heard of that incubator, but if you are looking at serious hatching I'd order the Dickies cabinet. Even if you think you don't need one that big, you can get the incubator/hatcher combo or 2 separate cabinets and the cabinet incubators hold their resale value very well. If you are looking for reliable the Dickies would be my choice.

This is just my opinion but for the money get a Dickeys. This is mine and I think with all the bells and whistles and freight it was about the same. I love mine. Of course the hatcher added to the price because I wanted a seperate unit for that, but they are well worth it. I havn't shut them off since I got them.

I want a Dickeys Incubator and hatcher, I will one of these days, I will. I prefer it over the pressed board Sportsman incubators. (Although I am not going to start mouthin a sportsman incubator or hatcher, I would appreciate either one.)
