4 hatched, another only managed to get its beak out before dieing. No biggy, I'm happy with 4 out of 8 on my first try.

One of the chicks, which was the first to hatch, won't walk on his feet. He scoots on his knees. His feet seem to be in working condition. Do I just wait and see? It's been 5 days.

unfortunately it could be a millon reasons.. What was your temperature/humidity during incubation/hatching; and were the eggs shipped or from a local source. As to why the first chick wont walk on its feet could be a genetic defect or it could have gotten hurt some how. I cant be much help on this problem.

One of mine did that. next day he was well enough I cant tell her apart from the others.
