are the chickens separated by breed or all running together.

I'm planning on going to this. I will be bringing 3-4 pet-quality showgirl roosters, no aggression problems. I will also probably be bringing some chicks, depending on what hatches out. I have about 30 total under a couple of my hens, some due to hatch in about a week and others due in 2. They will all be mixed breed.

 

I will be looking for some standard sized hens or pullets that are ready to start laying, and possibly one well behaved standard sized rooster to rule to yard. Breeds don't matter, I'm more interested in calm temperments and ability to produce eggs.

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking to buy a Buff Orpington hen and if I'm lucky a Swedish Flower chick/hen.

I'll be going to this swap but could pick them up elsewhere also.

Check with luvmygoats she may have the swedish flower chick and I know she is coming to the swap and could bring it down for you if you ask. Mychookschick might have a buff orphington hen for you, not sure .

Yes, I do have Buff Orpington hens, and a few that I was planning on bringing. PM me and I can hold one for you.
 

My best friends: 30 some odd chickens (BO, BR, GLW, Red Sexlinks, some 1/2 BO, 1/2 any of those breeds), 2 horses (Standardbred, Standardbred Appy X), 2 dogs (Lab x Golden Retriever and Aussy mix), and 2 cats.

Does anyone have any interest in some roosters I have? All are under 7 months and pure breeds. I have 1 Salmon Faverolle, 2 Lavender Orps, 2 Golden Cuckoo Marans and 3 Russian Orloff and 2 Coronation Sussex.

These have been in my holding pen until winter was over as "just in case replacements". I am asking $5 each...let me know if it is worth a trip down for the boys.

 

I also have 2 Narragansett toms that are 5 months $15 each.

Are you not bringing the goats anymore? I would want another roo, but I just took on a BO. Do you have pics of them? I may be able to tempt myself into it.... hide.gif
