Need help with dosage for worming.

Hi All,

I am worming my girls for the first time this weekend.

I have safe-guard wormer and I was wondering

how much to give each chicken?

I have a syringe that is measured from 0.5 - 3 mL(cc).

Using this syringe how much do I need to give each of

my ladies.

I have Buff Orphingtons who are about 10 months old.

Any guidance would be great.

Also, do I need to dilute the wormer or can I use it right out of the bottle?

Thanks in Advance,

Use it right out of the bottle (shake it well.) For safeguard liquid goat wormer, administer orally. Dosage is 1cc for giants, 3/4cc for large fowl, 1/2cc for standards, 1/4cc for smaller birds. Redose again in 10 days. There's a recommended 24 day withdrawal period start to finish.

OK, Thanks you so much dawg53. I am assuming that my Buff Orphington's are Standard size Vs. Large

Fowl, is that correct? I just want to make sure that I give them the right amount.

Thanks again,

You can give her 3/4cc if you wish, it wont hurt her. (Safe)guard is a very safe wormer.
