Went out today to do my own spring check of all our hens (14) feet to make sure all looked good from the winter. I have never in countered "poop plug" but I did today! Glad I had seen this thread awhile back! Luckly no bumblefoot! One hen has a nasty cut though up by one of her toes, treated it and cleaned it! And only one hen had the poop plug! I can't believe that doesn't hurt them and its so easy to push on it and remove it
