Redwood Incubators - Information, help, for sale and wanted

I will look you up @Tabasco Jack after I work with it as is. I was thinking of the Incuturner, and wondering how I would wire it and still keep the integrity of the cabinet IF I didn’t want to hand turn. I think mine comes with the setting wires, but am not sure about the metal attachments that turn them. We shall see. Anyways, thanks for sharing my excitement and the offer of help.
I added a power strip to the inside of mine to plug in the turners.
Only one of my trays had the metal wires, the rest had wood dowels crossing the tray. I removed the dowels so the turners would sit in the tray.
The original turners were a U shaped heavy wire with a strip of sheet metal across the bottom of the U. You would slide it in the slot at the bottom of the tray. It would move under the eggs causing them to roll when they were pushed against the dowels. You would need 1 turner for each 2 trays used. Pull it out of one tray turning those eggs and then push it in the 2nd tray leaving it there until the next time to turn.

I saw your thread on your mods. GREAT information and if I get to retrofitting turners, I will be back for hand-holding, for sure!

Thanks; right about original turners. I have read about these... not sure if mine will have them when it comes, but I will seek to use this method initially. I know mine has metal positioners but am unsure as to what size eggs they’ll hold, since my seller most recently used the ‘bator for quail’s eggs. Can’t wait to get my hands on it!!

Hi all, I have a Petersime model 1 incubator that I just want to confirm is operating normally. I found that it heats up pretty slowly. Maybe mine is missing some elements? I only found elements towards the back on the top as shown in attached photos. Are there supposed to be more heating elements along the bottom or something? Also, the air mover paddle just spins non-stop. Is that normal? Are these mercury thermostats also switches? As shown in the photo.

We purchased a Montgomery Ward Model 74LZ-3611A. We want to get it up and running so I'm looking for manuals, parts, information. I have found a webpage that has uploaded a photo of each page of their manual; not sure of the make/model of it.
