Okay the problem I have is this... one of my incubators died and so I put those eggs into another incubator that was started a day after mine were... so their lock down days are a day apart. Today my first batch need to go under lock down. Should I wait a day for lockdown, or put all the eggs on lock down today? Please help quickly!

I added one egg to my incubator a day after I started incubating. It will be locked down a day early with the others. I don't know if one day either way will make that much difference, but I would take a chance on locking some down early instead of late. My thinking is, sometimes they hatch on day 19 or 20, and you don't want to take a chance on losing humidity if they do start early.

Chickens off and on for 25+ years and still learning.
