I recently had a pheasant given to me and after some investigating I discovered it's a male Reeve Pheasant. Do any of you have a suggestion of where I can buy just a female? Thanks!

I have a male as well. Passed on a pair this weekend (I am kicking myself now) due to cost.

try craigslist or a chickenstock, females of the oriental pheasants are hard to find, i know i won't sell a female alone, i always sell in pairs if not i'll end up with a ton of males, i was lucky when i bought my breeding stock, i had a male then bought a whole batch of chicks, got two boys and 3 girls from them, good luck
