You know Linda, I now understand why the other day SCG was asking me about when to candle the turkey eggs.  I think she wanted me to OK this "check before 24 hours have even gone by" craziness.  I was just too thick to understand.  gig.gif

And then someone needs to slap me, I have 5-6 dozen chicken eggs being shipped to me from three different sources on Monday.

I need someone to stop me!!!!!!!!!!  My DH is an enabler, he just keeps building coops/runs.

Deb

Hope you left room, I send extras!

I have looked into my eggs and don't even see an air cell yet. Is this good? Or bad?

ANd yes, I'm going nuts again.

You got that right!!!

I did set the eggs. all 6. Temps running about 101 with one plug in. SO will pull 2nd plug tomorrow. Adding my chick eggs now so the chicks are well adjusted before the turkeys arrive.  ( I have a second incubator to use as a hatcher.)

The difference between breakfast and chicks, is the temperature you use to "cook" the eggs!

What breeds do I have?  More than any sane person would own.

Was gone all day Saturday and got home at 4PM today.  Eggs haven't arrived yet, so I'll be setting late and catching up from page 27!

ETA: Had to change 37 to 27...I was a bit behind!  LOL
