Really? Ya know, I think I read somewhere that their coloring does change - according to where they live. I think.... I could be wrong about that though.

Where mine came from - does the stock there look the same color as yours?

I LOVE your pictures! They sure do love the water, don't they!

Grandson visited today.

He isn't old enough to be afraid. lol.png

Last visit he did this - (note, he doesn't really hit, but he likes to think he does)...

Wilma got back at him today, and got into the pool that he (Kayson) was wanting to get into.

Here's a little video of Stuart. He came into the front yard to watch the eclipse with me.

Ha that is funny - he reminds me of one of my cats - she kind of casually strolls up as if not really interested but just passing by - then starts knocking things off the table or scratching forbidden objects (my wool rugs!!!) to get a little attention.

Home of the world's cutest dachshund, one crazy blue heeler, two cats,
one fat pony, and many (but not too many!) chickens

Can anyone tell me, how many are too many chickens?

When I was a little girl, I wore this button on my ballcap. The button was orange with a smiley face that had vampire teeth. Don't remember where or why i got that thing. I would go to my neighbors' house that raised emu. One had an obsession with that button. She would follow me around and pick at it. I told everyone that she hated me and i hated her and we would never be friends. lol. one of my fave memories of those silly birds.
