I got my call this morning to pick up my new babies! I am happy to report that they all arrived alive and healthy so far. My uncle and I shared an order from McMurray- I got 12 SLW pullets and a NH roo. He got 12 NH pullets and a roo, plus they added the standard free exotic rare chick and and extra NH roo. Three of the red chicks had a black marker or something on thier heads, so I assumed that is how they marked to roos. Does anyone know if that is what they do? If not, we may have to do some swapping later on. Anyway, I left mine in their brooder this morning cheeping happily, already running and trying out thier little wings...so CUTE!
