Meyer Hatchery ship times

Thread Starter

Hello All, first post here.  I have been doing a lot of research on ducks and feel very prepared for their arrival.  I'm wanting to take off work the day they arrive to make sure they get settled into the brooder but the 3 day window Meyer gives is a little inconvenient.

Does anyone have any experience with the time it takes?  They are suppose to be shipping today.  I live in Massachusetts.

Thanks,

Nick

I'm in Maine and my birds that ship any time on Monday always arrive first thing Wednesday.

Dennin, what the post office does is out of everyone's control.

They get there when the post office is darn good and ready to deliver them.

My Meyer order was shipped on a Monday, they arrived Wednesday early a.m. at my east coast post office.

Looking for ducks?  Please consider adopting rescued ducks.  There are many places and people who do rescues, but we are not allowed to post the links due to BYC regs.  So fire up your web browsers and find some sweet, grateful duckies.

I have never ordered from Meyer, but I plan on ordering quite a few ducks this year.  Are they a pretty good hatchery?  I've heard good, and bad.  Or is it just luck of the draw?

This was my first order from them as well, and I'm very pleased with them and there customer service and my 5 chicks are growing like little peeping weeds
