This listing is for TWELVE fertile hatching eggs (plus SIX extras) from my flock of Partridge Cuckoo Silkies and Gray Cuckoo Silkies. I have been working on Partridge and Gray Cuckoos for 8 years and have decided to offer eggs for a limited time.
Most of these eggs will come from my very best Partridge Cuckoo pen. There are 4 Partridge Cuckoo Silkie roos with 10 Partridge Cuckoo Silkie hens and 6 Show Quality Partridge Silkie hens. You will hatch mostly Partridge Cuckoo Silkie chicks, but you should expect some normal Partridge Silkie chicks as well. It is also possible to hatch a Gray (Silver Partridge) Cuckoo from these eggs. Breeding Partridge Cuckoo Silkies to normal Partridge Silkies produces darker male Partridge Cuckoos and helps improve type.
Eggs will also come from my best Gray Cuckoo pen. There are two Gray Cuckoo Silkie roos and one normal Gray Silkie Roo with 4 Gray Cuckoo hens and 4 Show Quality Gray Silkie hens. You will hatch mostly Gray Cuckoo Silkie chicks, but you should expect some normal Gray (Silver Partridge) Silkie chicks as well. It is also possible to hatch a Calico Cuckoo from these eggs... Gray Cuckoo Showgirl pen #1. There is one Gray Cuckoo Silkie Showgirl roo with 2 Gray Cuckoo hens and 2 Show Quality Gray Silkie hens. You will hatch mostly Gray Cuckoo Silkie chicks, but you should expect some normal Gray (Silver Partridge) Silkie chicks as well. Statistically, 50% of these chicks should be Showgirls. Please note... Shipped eggs are a gamble. Sometimes you have a great hatch - sometimes you don't. Fertility has been excellent here, but I can't be responsible for how the Post Office will handle your eggs once they leave my hands. I can not guarantee your hatch rate due to many circumstances beyond my control. No one can... Eggs will be individually bubblewrapped with lots of extra padding in the box.
