Hi Momma24 Me and my roomie r Heathen on BYH I have been anxiously awaiting for your doe to have babies. I check the thread at least twice a day to see if its happened yet. I just know she is gonna have pretty babies. Its sucks waiting but so exciteing at the same time

no babies yet! lol. we've been out of feed for a few days. well, not really, but feed they like. roll.png I got a bag on sunday, but it was moldy, just exchanged it today. anyway, the point of all that was i just fed them. my fat little girl seems to have a lot more energy today. I take that as a sure  sign it will be in the next few days! I remember that final spurt of energy about a week or less before my human kids wwere born.:)

They are soo cute!  I'm getting 2 babies Friday they will have to be bottle fed,  I don't know what kind they will be. My daughters friends dad is getting a bunch and getting a couple for me. He did ask me what kind I wanted. I said small ones lol.  I raised lambs for 4-H years ago but know almost nothing about goats except they are so cute.

 

I have 5 days to prepare, any advice or tips would be great.
