
First of all, without doing lab work, you have absolutely no way of knowing whether or not your meat chickens, or eggs, or anything else has any more or less pathogens than the commercially produced ones. Secondly, this research sounds a whole like the result of that old computer mantra GIGO. Garbage In = Garbage Out. My sister has been troubled with UTI's for years, and she is a vegetarian. I, on the other hand, have never had a UTI and I eat chicken, some home raised, some not, several times a week.
Well, you are right there is no "sure" way to know without "lab testing". I, for one, however think that the natural way is obviously going to be the healthier way.I think it definitely makes a difference if you do things the way they were intended to be done, and that does not include commercially grown no matter how "well" it is done.
