I'm a total newbie to chickens, however it could be because my hometown didn't allow "farm animals" that I had to wait this long. We purchased chickens on a whim about a month ago. They are great. They are comical and my dog absolutely loves them. I swear she thinks she is a chicken. When they were real young, our dog Maggie would whine and cry like crazy when we held her near them. It turns out she just wanted to run around with them and like a typical dog, sniff their butts. Our rooster Harley puts her in her place when she gets too rowdy.

I found this site looking for helpful info in regards to raising our little chicks. They are no longer babies, they are already in their teenager phase. Stubborn and eager to explore.

I'm sure this network of chicken lovers will be helpful in this new adventure.

The look on that poodle's face is priceless!

Yes, my silly little terripoo thinks she is part of the flock. It's funny to think that in a few weeks they will probably grow bigger than her. It's a sad day when your chickens are larger than your dog. Haha.
