How do You Get a Chicken to Open Their Mouth?

Had to take my dog to the vet. Figured while I was going might as well run a stool smaple on my girls. They have roundworms, my vet gave me panacur to treat them. I have to give each one 3 days  then in 2 weeks replete.If I force their beaks open can I crack or break them?any suggestions? Thanks

Sometimes, if I pull (gently) on their wattles my birds will open their beaks.  It's actually easier on the roosters because there's so much more wattle to grab. tongue.png

They might shake their heads, hang on til they stop or slack off, then administer the meds.
