In my limited experience, the eggs do not rehydrate. However, I also don't see this as a dooms day event. Wait and see if they internally pip on time, and then track the progress. You may need to assist. I have had chicks externally pip but make no more progresss. UPon carefully opening the egg, the creature was glued along the back and could not twist to zip. Gave the chick a warm water bath and all was well.
Sooo . . . don't give up. You don't know the outcome until after the hatch is finished. No matter how it goes, you learned an important lesson , to check the air sell development earlier in the incubation period when you can alter the air cell development. We all live and learn.
I do think you have a good chance of some hatching. I have seen pics of the egg that is half air cell, really, it was half. No hatching there. Yours are only a little bigger than ideal. DO post when y ou have a result . . .I would like to know how it turns out!!! GL!
