Im really wondering what they are going to do between Peeta and Katniss because the first book ends with him saying he really is in love with her and Her thinking it was just for the games. I really hate it when they leave stuff out.
Oh and the dogs at the end. That was suppose to be the fallen contestants just gentically altered.
I did not remeber peeta losing the leg. But I DO remember the hearing issue. A big thing they left out was the "cuddling or sleeping in the same bed" not sex, it wasn't sexual it was comforting, bonding etc. THAT was not in movie at ALL. I guess cuz they didn't want to deal with that aspect. But my DD13 sure commented on it!
The dogs at the end were supposed to have the faces of the other contestants. All in all I DID think it was a great movie that stayed true but not exact to the book. Throughout the rest of the series , I went back on forth between prefering gale or peeta. I think the author wanted it that way..
They did a GREAT job of laying the groundwork for the next book. It was very good I thought , but yes it WAS violent, and I could see they had to twist it to get it pg13.
