Hatching eggs from Holderread line of Welsh Harlequin. I purchased top quality day old babies last year with the hopes of getting some show quality ducks and I have not been disappointed. 5 of the 11 are good show quality. I have kept these 5 for my own breeding stock. From this group I will be selling eggs . Photos are of the 5 that I have kept and parents of the eggs you will receive. You can see the excellent markings, dark legs on the hens and great color on the drake.

"The resplendent Harlequin was developed by Leslie Bonnet of Wales from a color mutation that showed up in his Khaki Campbells in 1949. Our original stock was out of birds imported directly from the originator, Mr. Bonnet. We have been diligently selecting our Harlequins since 1982 to maintain a high degree of authenticity. The following is taken from the Holderread website:
If you want a brilliantly colored duck that lays like a Campbell, is a tremendous forager, weighs 5 to 5 1/2 pounds, then the Harlequin is an excellent choice. Annual egg production in our flocks has been averaging 260 to 350 white eggs per female. If allowed to set, many Harlequin females will successfully hatch ducklings. "
So if you want a quality duck to show, a meat duck (very little grease), and an undisputed top of the line year round egg producer the Welsh Harlequin is the duck for you.
These ducks are fed a top quality duck feed, fresh greens and corn meal. All free choice and in seperate areas. They are free range and get into the rabbit food (also free range) and whatever few pieces the horses may drop and not find. They have taken over the waterfall and pond for their own use so we have happy, healthy and clean ducks.
Minimum order is 6 and they will be shipped the day following payment. Shipping cost is the actual cost of shipping. You can figure shipping by going online to USPS and giving the box size 12 x 8 x 5, the weight 2.2 lbs and the zip code that they are being shipped from 32148. That will let you know the cost for priority mail. Priority mail flat rate is $11.35.
Each egg will be wrapped seperately and boxed for minimum movement. I ship on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday depending on the ending date of sale and payment received.
