I call mine "the girls"  or "my girls" too, but I have two sons and a husband, and I have been the only girl around until now, so this is the first time the boys are outnumbered!!  Well, my girls are only 4 weeks old, so let's hope they are all girls!!

Mine are all between two and three weeks, and very awkward...I like to say,

Who's mommy's little dinosaurs?  You are!  Yes you are!
Is that my snuggy little chick?

What are the babies doing?  Mommy's babies digging to China?

And to the chick that constantly crawls up to my shoulder to snuggle under my chin and hair:

No stanley steamers, please.  Mommy doesn't want a poopy rack!  No she doesn't!

We have a dozen different breeds of chickens and we love them all!
