I have 7 guinea girls this year, too. I had 18 males and gave 8 away at a swap! I kept the most macho. My girls have been laying since mid March. I've got 9 eggs under a broody cochin hen just this week. I think the guineas raised by the chickens stick a little closer to home when they grow up.
