Hey Peeps!

I set 12 BCM eggs under my black austrolop hen and something happens! :O One of the eggs broke and the yolk got on a few of the other eggs!! Are these eggs now contaminated and won't hatch??

Thanks!

Sometimes that happens.  Just clean it up as best as you can.  I had a hen break a few eggs when she was trying to get back on the nest and it made a huge gooey mess.  I ended up going out there with a warm washcloth and carefully wiping the goo off.  Don't wipe too much though because you want the bloom to stay on.  I had shavings in the nest, so I just scooped out the dirty ones and put in some clean ones.  If she gets off the nest to eat or drink you can do it then.  I did it at night with a flash light and she didn't mind.  Just try not to take too long.
