Yay, fun!! Yes, pics please!!!  :) You should also do a follow up of what they look like in a few weeks just for fun too!

We finally have our first chicks! 1 Australorp, 1 Silver Laced Wyandotte, 1 Rhode Island Red, 1 White Leghorn, 1 Barred Rock, and 3 Easter Eggers.

I think it is a roll of the dice as to what we get with the EE's. I picked two, one dark and one light grey. Here they are then and now at nearly 7 wks. Any guesses what they will look like when

completely feathered out?

Oooh I like the coloring of that darker one!  that is a neat pattern!

My favorite too..think it will be a roo? So dark and mixed patterns, I have high hopes!

Second, I don't know if any will be super light. What color are the wing feathers on the last one?

beautiful....the grey one.kinda looks roo-ish to me.....but it could be the pic......EE's are harder to tell until later IMO!

Nice birds though!

That second picture was just a close up of one of the others.  but for sure, not a buff one since the wing feathers are already starting to come in and they're certainly not buff! :(

 

I might take a trip to the feed store on friday and check those out, maybe give one of the original ones to my neighbor LOL
