The cat food soaked in the scrambled eggs while the concoction cooled, so the kibble was soft.  No,  I wasn't on my belly.  I was sitting in 'child's pose' with the camera close to the ground.  Look close and you can see my  reflection on the silver bowl.  The camera has an articulated screen so I can snap photos at odd angles.  It was difficult getting the photos at first as the action was so fast!

How fun! Tell them happy birthday from me!

It was my flock's first 'hatchday' yesterday as well- they certainly didn't get this sort of feast! My birdies got some mealworms- their favorite- and some oatmeal-their second favorite!smile.png

One last Runner-cross duck, 1 WCB Polish, 3 Barred Rocks, 3 bantam buff Brahmas, 1, Sultan hen, 2 chillaxed horses, 1 bossy mare, 2 crazy dogs, 2 ever-shedding kitties, 1 adorable rabbit, and 2 amusing dorm fish.

 

I miss you already, Shanaynay. You were the sweetest bird with many fans who miss you as well.

Poor Stan had to wait until the cake was about 2/3 gone.  He knows better than to get between a hungry gal and her cake!
