Why does the floor get farther away every year?

Why do the early bird specials now seem like a great deal?

Why do I worry when something doesn't hurt?

Why do I buy slip-on shoes instead of ones with laces?

Why does AARP send you mail before you reach retirement age?

I've been called Miss Scarlett on more than one occasion...and every time it offends me. I don't see such a thing as a compliment...rant.gif

You might have noticed, I'm not all there myself.

It's better than being told that you remind someone of Lydia Bennet (from Pride and Prejudice)

IMO, Scarlett was shallow, self-centered, and incapable of seeing the bigger picture. I wouldn't care to be compared to her, either!

She was all of that, but she had a set of brass ---- well you know what I mean.  A rare quality for women of that era.  There were things about her that were worthy of admiration.
