I often tell my husband that I'm aspiring to be the world's greatest chicken photographer. Maybe I should be the world's greatest duck photographer too. Ducks certainly are a lot more fun to shoot (with the camera).
I took these pictures of my Welsh Harlequin hen today. I think they turned out well, and I'm bursting with pride. Isn't she a pretty girl? If any of you know anything about what a good quality hen should look like, please tell me what you think of her. She is a year old, and I think she's pretty good, but I am still learning.
