Ladies & Gentlefolk,

 

I present to you...

 

MAGIC EGGS!

 

Now they are not there...

I am so excited, and trying to decide what to do with them - incubating them is not going to be an option, as I will be out of town the last part of next month.  But at least I did not entirely mess up the flock, and they are laying this year.  *whew*

Those are beautiful eggs! 

EE, Buff Orp, Jersey Giant, White Silkie, Barred Rock, Dominique, Cuckoo Maran, Welsummer and Cochin chickens,  9 Welsh Harlequin ducks, 2 Rouen ducks,  9 American Buff geese, one patient husband, 4 children of assorted ages from 5 - 15

They are HUGE eggs!  I knew, intellectually, that they were bigger than duck eggs, but they are GINORMOUS.

 

And there was another one today.  I have collected up the oldest (dirtiest) three, and left the other two, to see what they will do.

oh my goodness i wish i had an incubator, id have you send me the extras!  i love cotton patch!
