First time hatching goose eggs in an incubator

Thread Starter

I was wondering if anyone can give me some pointers for goose egg hatch. I have 10 eggs, in a styrofoam incubator. There is development. I have the temperature at 100 degrees and the humidity at 75. Is that right?

1- read the hatching guide sticky at the top of the goose area.

2- you didn't give us any real details.

What brand of incubator?
Still air or forced air?
What day are the eggs on?
Hand collected or shipped eggs?
How are you turning them?

Your humidity is too high unless they are in lockdown and set to hatch. Keeping that high during incubation can lead to drowning in the shell. Try to lower it to a goal of 30% give or take until they I ter ally pip and then you can raise it up for hatching.
