Hello All, I am in west central illinois and starting up my "chicken ranch" again after being out of it for 8-10 years. I remember how much i enjoyed watching my RIR in the yard in the afternoon. I have 2 young daughters and a wife that are slowly catching my "chicken fever". Look forward to reading everyones post and looking at other peoples setups.

1 Wife, 1 son, 3 daughters, 1 great dane (Lilly)  1 cat (Dave),1 Hamster (Flash)  2 Black Australorps, 4 Barred Rocks, 4 Black sexlinks, 6 RIR, 8 Isa Browns, 6 Buff Orpingtons and 5 Leghorns..House is FULL!

Hi and welcome to BYC from northern Michigan frow.gif

Home of the world's cutest dachshund, one crazy blue heeler, two cats,
one fat pony, and many (but not too many!) chickens

Can anyone tell me, how many are too many chickens?
