I've been married to my hubby for 13 years we have 3 kidos.  We are from Maryland.  This is our first time rising chicks.  We went to the store to get 12 chicks to raise for eggs and pets.  We ended up getting 16 Rhode island reds, 2 silkies and 6 Broiler chickens.  

 

We found BYC through google searching for a solution to the fact one of the chicks was bieng pecked by the others and she now has a hole in her head by her eyes,
