We have been keeping our chickens in a LARGE run, though Blackie doesn't agree.

 

*sees Blackie outside the run*

 

*sighs and yells* "BLACKIE!!!!!!!!!!!" *even though she can't hear me, but is probably laughing to herself*

Proud owner of 1 Easter Egger rooster, 2 Buff Orpington hens, 2 Silver-Laced Wyandotte hens, 1 ISA Brown hen, 3 Cherry Egger pullets, 5 Barred Rock pullets, 4 Silkie chicks, 3 Ameraucana chicks, 1 Mille Fleur d'Uccle chick, 1 Porcelain d'Uccle chick, 9 Cornish Rock cross chicks and 1 spunky, independent Black Star hen!

DONT YOU DARE HISS AT ME!" sees turkey walk up "Turkey dont, no dont" turkey sticks head in nest box "TURKEY!" yanks turkey out "Good she didnt peck you, this time, NOW DONT DO THAT AGAIN!" Turkey sticks head in again "TURKEY! YOU IDIOT!" turkey runs off scared of BullHead

*wave arms and screams like madwoman, chickens just stare then go back to pecking*
“omg go girls RUN NOW!”
Hawks turns out to be a giant crow and my chickens are probably going *facepalm*

Mom to 3 wonderful dogs, 4 crazy cats(one is expecting any day now ), 4 hyper rabbits, a happy assortment of chickens, and some funny call ducks. And(for now)1 random turkey.

Living my dream life here at Shadow Oak Farm, and loving every second!!!!!!!!!
