I don't post all that much, but do I still qualify (based on years) for the 5 year badge?

Ammo is too expensive now to waste it on a warning shot.

Great question!  The process is basically this:

Once a quarter / every 3 months (we try to do it in the beginning / middle of the quarter) we run a report of all members, years as members, and recent activity. If the member has the required number of years and recent activity we manually give them the awards.

Since the process is VERY manual and time consuming, we only award members who have been actively posting, otherwise we'd have thousands to do each month... which would take FOREVER!  So, we usually look for peeps who have posted in the past 60 to 90 days from the time we are reviewing awardees.

Also, because it's a manual process and we do hundreds and hundreds of these, one-at-a-time, there is a high degree of likelihood that someone may be skipped. If this happens, just let us know and we'll take care of it!
