Ok my father in law keeping telling me a about a purple pill they you add to the water but he can not remember the name.  Does any one know what he is talking about?

I am not familiar with it,  you might try searching poultry supplier's websites.

I vaguely remember something along that line. They were a pill containing vitamins and electrolytes. They were added to the chickens water. I believe while they were still chicks?  They were sold at one of the feed stores I have frequented.

I remember it too. Yes, it was for chicks for a vitamin. Very similar to the powder we mix in now.
