We have 9 chickens I'm pretty sure that 7 are Roos and I am almost positive we have one hen but I'd like some help with confirmation pretty please. Thanks in advance for all your help.D.gif They are about 20wks old and some of them crow so I know for sure they're boys three are easter eggers and the rest I think may be RIR Mixes.

Mommy to 4 Silver Seabright Bantams, 1 EE Hen, 9 new babies I got in late March (hoping for lots of girls!!!) All I wanted were hens and I seem to be attracted to the Roosters.  Also a mommy to 3 kids, a pug, and a pug yorkie mix.

What horrible luck. I can't quite see the details of the light colored EE in fore ground but all the others pictured are roosters. The hackle (neck) and saddle feathers are a dead give away. Not to mention the sickle tail feathers starting.

There's so little to fear from hatching even chickens dare. In fact, it's so easy a turkey can do it.

The only girl I see is the bottom picture with EE in the front but I am no expert by any means.

Trying to be a nurse that can't understand atoms and how they work, and really doesn't care, with hubby, two children, and way more chickens than I need.

I was pretty sure of the same thing especially since I have the noisiest front yard in the world lol. But I can't always tell who's doing the crowing. I did get six seabright bantams and we ended up with three girls and three boys. which was at least better odds than the others. But the seabrights are so pretty and easy to tell apart I have no questions about them.
