Ive come to the conclusion I just have to accept I will have losses from time to time, and protect them when I can. I am home most of the time, and working outside, so Ive been able to prevent them from taking any many times. Im just curious if anyone else ever had one so aggressive, and so unafraid of humans.
The above is basically one of the realities we have to face when owning chickens.....it happens.
I have never heard of them being unafraid of humans....aggressive yes. Hawks are everywhere and different types are native for certain areas.
Lol I have run around yelling too.If you are lucky some crows will attack it like they did a young hawk here.Gotta keep those ticks down. Was just watching an episode of Monsters Inside of me and the guy got a parasite through a tick bite.It was a nasty one,but ofcourse which parasite isn't?!?!?!
Quite a daring hawk you got.To bad it isn't going after pesky animals.
