The above is basically one of the realities we have to face when owning chickens.....it happens.

 

I have never heard of them being unafraid of humans....aggressive yes. Hawks are everywhere and different types are native for certain areas.

Lol I have run around yelling too.If you are lucky some crows will attack it like they did a young hawk here.Gotta keep those ticks down.Was just watching an episode of Monsters Inside of me and the guy got a parasite through a tick bite.It was a nasty one,but ofcourse which parasite isn't?!?!?!

 

Quite a daring hawk you got.To bad it isn't going after pesky animals.

Thanks for the information Aero... I figured there would be a way to eliminate some of the population.
