I am in the exact same boat.  This is my 3rd year having chickens now.  First year I got 2 buffs and 2 barred rock, second year 2 speckled sussex, this year 2 EE's.  I posted on here relentlessly when my older hens were chicks, so afraid that I had mistakenly got a rooster.  People on this forum were even confused, as my Barred rocks had mighty big pink combs, and my speckled sussex were huge.  But they are all hens.  I know it does happen that people get roosters when theyre supposed to get pullets, but don't fret.  They are probably girls. 90% are the odds, right?

You are right of course. 90% odds are pretty good. I'm just a worrier :) Thanks for the dose of perspective!

New pictures! They are a bit over three weeks now. Any new guesses or is it still too early to tell if they are hens or roos?

I am not an expert by any means, but I do have two barred rock pullets, and yours are much lighter than mine, and their legs do not seem to have that black wash on them that pullets tend to have.  Like I said, I'm not an expert, and there are people on here who are, best to wait for their opinions. Also, you can already see their reddening waddles.    Below is my barred rock pullet at 6 weeks.

I am hoping it is just the lighting in the pics. What are the odds that I'd get two roosters when these are supposed to be sexed pullets? Ugh... I really hope you are wrong!

I very well could be wrong, I am new to this and just getting the hang of things, please do not be discouraged by my opinion, I am still trying to figure out the gender of some of my own hu.gif

I will wait to see for sure in any case, but opinions is what I posted for so I appreciate you giving yours even though it isn't what I am hoping for!
