Bantam Columbian Wyandottes - Barred Gene?

I'm the first to admit that when it comes to genetics I'm not sure on a LOT of things. LOL I know the Delaware carries the barred gene. Does that mean my Columbian Wyandottes do too?

In all the years we've been breeding the Columbian (bantam) dottes. Can say I've ever seen any barred gene's pop out. So I would say no not there. but if you crossed it with a barred carrying bird you could introduce it. Would be different looking, I would think.

Thanks! I was looking to see if I could use them to make sex-links. Guess I'll find another bird.
