Thread Starter

I am a stay at home mom to two girls and we just got our first coop.  We will be getting four chickens from my MIL and I am very excited to have fresh eggs for my family.  Looking forward to talking to all of you about chickens.

Hi and welcome to BYC from northern Michigan frow.gif

Home of the world's cutest dachshund, one crazy blue heeler, two cats,
one fat pony, and many (but not too many!) chickens

Can anyone tell me, how many are too many chickens?

Welcome from an almost-Olympian.

I am a new member myself, raring to throw in my 2 cents worth of hot air, talking about everything I know nothing about!  I have 2 young girls, we homeschool (um.....yeah...... that's what I call what we do..... *anyway*!) and we are raising more chickens, this time for 4-H.

Good to see someone from so close by!

Never mind me.  I really have no idea what I'm talking about, I just like pretending that I do.
