Can I alter my "page views" to more than 10 posts per page?

It's tiresome scrolling through numerous 'pages' to see the replies;  on other forums, it is possible to set the number of posts per page (in some cases, as many as 50 posts per page), but, I haven't fathomed if it is possible to do that here, and, if it is, how to do it?

 

Too many "pages" of posts is off-putting;  having an option to view more than 10 responses per page would be a) faster b) more user friendly and c) a more effective and efficient use of members time when reading a previously unread thread for the first time ... otherwise it becomes laborious and results in new threads being posted on topics the reader may have been engaged in reading through had it not been for the restriction of a 10-post-only-page format.

 

If it is possible to view more than 10 posts-per-page, I would be delighted to know how!

That's kind of a drag.  With the old format, a non paying member was able to view 100 posts per page.  I liked that much better.  I understand though that a profit needs to be made and I DO love this site very much!!!!

I have to tell you -- and of course this is just personal preference -- I don't like the 50 or 100 posts per page AT ALL.  It is way too frustrating if I happen to lose my place; one slip on the mouse wheel and, ugh.  Also, my FF loads pretty quickly -- but a lot more slowly if it has to load 50 or 100 posts with lots of pics.  Which doesn't matter unless I decide to go back a page....   I'm just glad that 10 is an option.
