This three-week old chick was supposedly an australorp, but when the red coloring appeared on her face and then her feathers began growing in this week, we realized she is the third of nine chicks we purchased which were not what we asked for. We were able to quickly replace the speckled sussex and the feed store switched out the feather legged chick for the lakenvelder we had requested; but it's too late to get the australorp we wanted.
