Hello all,

I had chickens when I was a teenager and now that I turned 35 my BF decided to let me get some chicks 4 so far,1 New Hampshire Red,1 Brown Leghorn, and 2 I think to be polish of sorts. They are about a week old. We will be going to the the feed store soon to "look" at some more I can already feel the chicken math is going to take place.

I have been reading a lot in the Raising Baby Chicks thread so I joined to learn from the more "seasoned" folks.

Mom of 2 Sons. Backyard Farmer of 2 Cochin Banty's, a Lt. Brown and a White Leghorn, an Isa Red , 2 Buff Orps, 1 Buff Rock, a RIR, and an EE.  3 Dogs, a Chihuahua, Shiba Inu, and a Jack(Fat)Russell.

No wonder I'm learning to remember to forget what I'm doing !  ~(:^~)

Hi and welcome to BYC from northern Michigan frow.gif

Home of the world's cutest dachshund, one crazy blue heeler, two cats,
one fat pony, and many (but not too many!) chickens

Can anyone tell me, how many are too many chickens?
