I have a week old chick that is refusing to eat.  She just stands in one place and chirps.  She is not walking around. HELP

Do you have just the one chick or are there other's?  Do you have a heat lamp for her?  What kind of food do you have out for her?  Sorry for all the questions, need a little more background info to help.

wife to long suffering husband who has built more miles of fence, barns, coops and enclosures then one man should have to, two teenage boys, current flock of 13 assorted hens and 1 big red roo, 2 goats, 2 dogs, 4 cats, 2 bunnies and 1 cockatiel.

And more questions: What are you using for bedding?  What is the temperature under the heat lamp at chick level.  Is she drinking water?  Was she eating and just stopped?  Is her vent covered by poppy butt?

Night Crawlers! (Worms) Ours are 4 days old and would not eat (good) until after giving them some cut up worms. Now they are off and running! (Eating like they are suppose to.)
