Hello my doves have 2 eggs as of 4 days ago, how long does it take. I dont know what kind they are but the female is all white and the male is white with very dark almost chocolate brown spots. They are both beautiful.

Is it true that the difference between doves and pigeons are that doves are smaller?  I would love to get a set of diamond doves but the fee to have them sent is way over my budget. Do you know of any breeders in southern illinois or st.louis,mo?

I think for doves its 16 days.

Doves are smaller and do not have the homing ability like pigeons do and will not return  to the loft when let out to fly, but only homing pigeons can be taken miles away and still return.
