Is there a picture chart of baby chicks...? like i would like to know colors of baby chicks, = a grown chicken.

In the book of standards, they don't show any pics of babies...just adults, they talk about coloring hens vs rooster...

thanks for your help.

Unless they are sex-linked or autosexing- the babies will look alike till adult feathers are in.

really...i thought there would be a way of telling... my friend just bought a baby chick white butt,  in the middle it's black, the head is black with a couple of white spots...could this be just a cross breed then?

thanks
