big_smile.png Hello chook fans,

What a great resource you have here!

Well I suppose i should introduce myself and my chook! As of Tuesday I only have one very broody chook - wee brown - as my flock of 9 were attacked and the rest were killing while I was at work on Tuesday by a neighbourhood cat :-(. So I found this site while looking for tips on making a coop totally cat safe for them to be in during my working hours. My new chook house will be built with adobe - I'm very excited about it. I've ordered some stiff metal mesh for the walls and a bit of fine bird netting for the roof and I NEVER want to come home to that again!

I will be trawling your site for ideas for the inside of my new shed and coop!

I look forward to getting to know some of you!

Pleased to meet you :-)

Janet
