Is She a Rhode Island Red?

I got her 6 weeks ago, and I had ordered a Rhode Island Red, I had my doubts from the beginning since she is a lot lighter than I anticipated, but now she has some black on her...I am VERY new to chickens, so I thought I would seek the advice of the more experienced.  She is 6 1/2 weeks old. Any help would be great!

Thanks!

Do you know if the breed is right?  Rhode Island Red?

It looks right to me, that being said if you got it from a hatchery/feed store the chick would most likely be a "production rhode island red". not to worry it is still a rhode island red, it will just lay more eggs as the name implies.

She looks like she has some white feathers too which would lead me to say she is more likely a red sex link rather than a production red.

Thanks, I got her though My Pet Chicken, I thought she would be a deeper red if she were a Rhode Island, but I want her to lay a lot of eggs, so a production RI isn't so bad smile.png

Mark 11:22-23

"Have faith in God," Jesus answered. "I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him.
